Our Policy
At the beginning of the transaction or matter we will give you certain detailed information relating to the costs and we will keep you informed as to costs as the matter progresses.
You may terminate the retainer at any time and for any reason. When instructions are withdrawn we will be entitled to charge you for the work done on a quantum meruit basis and may have a lien over certain documents belonging to you until our reasonable charges are paid.
We will not terminate the retainer with you except for a good reason and upon reasonable notice.
Our duties to you:
- To carry out your instructions with diligence and exercise reasonable care and skill.
- To keep your business and affairs confidential.
- To keep you properly informed for information concerning your affairs.
- To advice on the availability of Legal Aid.
